JESUS LOVES BIKERS!

I've heard this said a thousand times, but its true. Think about it.  Jesus had a lot in common with Bikers. The government did not like him, as well as the church leaders of the time. He was often misunderstood by his peers, held to ridicule by those around him.  Very few (12) took the time to know him, but when they did they where his for life.

"Therefore If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation;
old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new"
2 Corinthians 5:17

An angry man stirreth up strife,
and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
A man's pride shall bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the humble in  spirit.
Proverbs 29: 22 - 23

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves
your servants for Jesus's sake.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined
in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6

I have lived though a very hard time the last  few years.  August of '98 my Father past on to Christ, a very hard time in my life.  (Still is at times.)  I ended a 17 year connection with the U.S. Navy in December 98, and came out to Western Arizona to help my Mother carry on with her life.  Then in January of 99, my 17 year old Daughter informed  my of how much she hated me for divorcing my 1st wife, her mother. Then as things where looking better, I came home the Friday before Easter (99) to find my 2nd Wife, my car and all of our things packed up and gone!  Bang, no warning no fights just gone. I was dropping toward the bottom FAST, and gaining speed!  Then I started looking around and opened my eyes to his works again.  The people he had place around me before and after the mention events unfolded brought me back into His light again. Brothers like Rick, that just by their being there give you strength and lend you hope. Friends like Shari (Who's now my Wife) that seem to have no bottom to their support for you.  My new found Brother and supporter in Christ, Ken.  He is a friend and a coworker that has a clear view of what should be, and how to get there.  My friend Dave has shown me by his own walk in the light, what can be as well, if you just stand by your faith. Thank you all. They are around you too, just look, find them, and talk to them.

I still live a fast life, but a Christian one. I now know Jesus and the Father are there for me.  Strange thing about this unconditional Love thing, isn't it?  Hard to take it all in at first, but so was that first engine rebuild or that Black Lacquer Tank repaint job.  (You did put 12 layers on and buff between each, right?)  But I didn't give in, you should not either.  I've been standing by my Biker life style since I began ridin' in the early '70s, did some racing....was a general pain in the back side the rest of the time!  I may not be back on a Harley yet, but does not mean I lost the passion or am not Out In The Wind!

THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, I HOPE!

IT IS AS SIMPLE AS ASKING JESUS FOR IT! BUT YOU HAVE TO MEAN IT. HERE'S HOW. PRAY TO GOD IN YOUR OWN WORDS, JUST TALK! HE WILL HEAR YOU!!

1. ADMIT you are a sinner, and that only Jesus can save you.

(Romans 3:23)

2. REPENT: be willing to turn away from your sin and submit to God.
(Luke 13:5)

3. BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed his blood to pay the price for your  sins, and He arose again.
(Romans 10:9)

4. ASK God to save you.
(Romans 10:13)

5. ASK Jesus Christ to be the LORD (take control) of your life.
(Romans 12:1-2)

Just don't let people tell you it's all in the "Karma".  Nothing is written in stone, and the Lord gives us free will for a reason. Just don't let yours put you in jeopardy with the Lord.
