Jason’s Testimony
I was saved at the age of 19 during a
winter campout with my friends. It was our tradition to camp in the snow one
week of our two week Christmas vacation. During our senior year campout I asked
the Lord to forgive me and come into my heart. I truly wanted to get saved
earlier but my Christian friends were very poor witnesses. Their professions of
faith hadn't proved to bring any change into their lives. It was during this
time in my life I learned a lasting lesson about faith. If you name the name of
Christ, then by all means, be a light and let your life be a picture of
salvation that leads people to the foot of the cross. I Cor.
9:22-23
I praise God that He touched my heart and
I accepted Him. He honored a simple request that I had asked earlier which was
"God, you don't seem real to my friends, but if you are real, show
me." He has, and He becomes more sure and more real everyday. Psalm 40:3.
God has blessed me with a wonderful family and a beautiful supportive wife. He
has also allowed me to Pastor a wonderful church in Montana.
