In 1985 I had my life was falling apart,
everything I thought I had was disappearing. The relationship I was in was a mess and my life was out of control.I had earned the rep of hard drinking wildman.I was in the Tn. National Guard my friends called me "The orginal Party Animal" The whole time I was slipping deeper and deeper. Finally I hit bottom my nerves were shot I was having memory lapses and I went to the doc. Come to find out he was a Christian and he told me I could either get it right with Jesus or be on nerve meds for the rest of my life.I believed in Jesus and I thought that was enough. One day going down the road I was flipping through the radio heard a rocking song(Rez Band)I had caught the tail end of it.The next song God would use to change my life for ever ,as I listened to it the Holy Ghost brought conviction in my heart and I pulled over and asked Jesus in my heart tears & snot just a flying. It was a struggle at first, but God brought me through. In 1987 I answered the call to preach.
In 1994 my Daddy was dying, the doctors sent him home to die. About fifteen minutes after he died that night I got a call my house burnt down.Shortly after
my ex wife left had left me. We had 3 small children.
All this had happened as I took another step in the ministry (I become assistant Pastor in my church) and through all of this God kept me wrapped up in him .In 1996 I was at my moma"s house walking in the woods praying.God spoke to me told me to move to missouri (I lived in Georgia),also he showed a vision of the woman I would meet and marry. I told my pastor and the Holy Ghost bare witness with him. So in oct 96 I moved to Missouri. In 97 I met the woman God had showed me and we were married that year. We now work together in the ministry. Right now we evangalize in churches, also we minister in a Christian rock band called SoulJourn. God has blessed us a lot. My oldest son (11) lives with us. All I can say I know beyond any shadow of a doubt God will never leave us or forsake us no matter what happens and who can say "no" to a love like that.
I use to ride bikes when I was younger, recently I bought me another one. My intention is to use it to witness. Its not a pretty bike, but God uses
it to strike up conversations every where I ride it. We have a lot of riders in this area. I just want to see people find the same love I found in Jesus.
